These boots are made for walkin'

I came from university today with the thought to get a half an hour nap and then rush to work. My body was lying on the bed almost lifeless and I could feel how every muscle was relaxing. For one second I really wished to be in someone else's shoes. In my mind, I took a picture of all of my female friend's lives trying to figure out which one of them I would like to swap places with...

                                                               A better job?

Or maybe if my parents could pay for my rent?
Better looks?

A little bit more cheerfulness?
A loving and protective husband?

These are all things my friends have..things I sometimes wish I had too,but when I gave it a serious thought I realized I wouldn't want to be any of them because each one of them has situations in their lives that I would not want to have: too grumpy, too naive, too frail, more responsibility than I could handle, too egocentric.
Thing is, I do like my shoes..they way they are...so if you are not content with your own shoes...do this exercise..put yourself in someone else's shoes, see if you can handle their heels and all that they bring; be critical,be real...would you really love to be there?
